Questions

The things people
actually ask.

How quotes work, when tickets are issued, what we can and cannot do about a visa. If your question isn't here, phone us — we'd rather answer it before you book.

Is V+ Travel a booking website?

No. We are a travel agency, and this site is a request desk. You send us the trip details, a consultant checks routes and availability, and you receive a written quote. Nothing is booked or charged through the website.

If you prefer to talk it through, phone the office or stop by in Parow North.

How quickly will I hear back?

We aim to reply within one business day. Requests that arrive after 16:00 on Friday, or over a public holiday, are handled on the next working day.

If you are travelling within 48 hours, please phone +27 (21) 061-1290 instead of using the form. Urgent seats move faster than email.

Do you charge a service fee?

Yes, where a service is involved. Our quote separates the airline fare, taxes, embassy or consulate fees and our service fee so you can see exactly what you are paying for.

There is no charge for a first conversation when you are considering booking with us.

When is my ticket issued?

Only after you approve the quote and payment has cleared. We send the itinerary and fare rules first, answer any questions, and then issue. You will receive the ticket number and airline confirmation by email.

Can I change or cancel a ticket later?

It depends on the fare rules attached to your specific ticket. Some fares allow changes for a fee plus any difference in fare; others are non-refundable. We explain the rules before issuing and will quote the cost of any change when you ask.

Do I need a visa for my trip?

It depends on your nationality, your destination and sometimes your transit country. Send us the passport country and route and we will check the current requirements. Visa rules change often, so we verify them at the time of your request rather than relying on older advice.

Can you guarantee that my visa will be approved?

No agency can guarantee an embassy decision. What we can do is check that your document pack is complete, consistent and submitted in the right format, and prepare you for appointments or biometrics. The final decision always rests with the relevant authority.

How early should I apply for a visa?

As a rule of thumb, start six to eight weeks before departure. Some countries take longer, and appointment queues can be unpredictable. If your trip is sooner than that, phone us so we can tell you honestly whether the timeline is realistic.

What happens if the airline changes my flight?

Airlines can change schedules, and they usually notify the booking contact. We monitor the bookings we issue and will contact you if a change affects a connection or looks impractical. We can also help you rebook, subject to the airline's rules.

Is baggage included?

Not always. Baggage allowances vary by airline, route and fare brand, and the cheapest fare may be hand luggage only. Your quote will state the allowance included, and we can add checked baggage where the airline allows it.

Can you arrange seats, meals and special assistance?

Yes, where the airline supports it. Tell us about mobility assistance, medical needs, children travelling alone, dietary requests or a preference for specific seats. Some services are free; others carry an airline fee which we will confirm.

How do I pay?

Payment methods are confirmed in your quote. We do not collect card details through this website. For your own security, never send card numbers or passport scans by ordinary email unless we have given you a secure method.

A larger question?

Ask a person, not a search engine.

If your trip involves several countries, a complicated passport situation or a group with different needs, a short conversation is usually faster than a long email chain.
